DAZN

DAZN holds broadcast rights in most territories worldwide — a free DAZN account is enough. Its deal excludes Brazil, the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, Central and South America, MENA, Portugal, Israel and the French overseas departments, where local rights holders and the Kings League channels carry the event instead.

If you want to follow it the way Kings League fans actually do — several president co-streams side by side — our free Multiwatch viewer puts up to four streams in one window.

The Official Broadcast

Kings League publishes each matchday in full on YouTube. Below is the Italian channel's Round 1 broadcast from the Fonzies Arena.

The Format: Swiss First, Then Sudden Death

This edition is deliberately smaller. Kings League cut the field from 32 teams to 16 in a slot allocation revised on March 5, 2026, and for the first time there are no wildcard invitations — every club earned its place. When Kings League MENA pushed its Split 1 back to October, the two freed slots went to Kings Cup MENA runners-up FWZ and Kings League Italy's third-placed Stallions.

Round 1 — all 16 teams play once, pairings drawn at random with no protection for teams from the same country.

Round 2 — winners go to a winners' bracket, losers to a losers' bracket. Win in the winners' bracket and you are straight into the quarter-finals.

Last Chance round — the four teams that lost in the winners' bracket face the four winners from the losers' bracket. Four survive, filling the eight-team knockout.

Knockout — quarter-finals, semi-finals and final, single elimination, no second chances.

Squads are 13 players, and clubs may add up to two players on temporary international loan from teams that did not qualify — which is why familiar faces show up in unfamiliar shirts.

Both Spanish giants dropped into the losers' bracket on day one. The host nation, meanwhile, went three from three.

Kings League — created by Gerard Piqué and Ibai Llanos — sells the presidents as hard as the football, and this field is stacked: Neymar, Lamine Yamal, James Rodríguez and Hasan Salihamidžić alongside streamers with audiences to match.

Why This One Matters

Kings League has become the biggest recurring live audience in creator sport. Its national-team edition, Kings World Cup Nations 2026 in Brazil, reached 120 million cumulative live viewers across more than 200 territories in January, with 41,000 fans inside Allianz Parque for the final. The club edition is smaller by design, but it is the one that decides which creator-owned club is the best on the planet — and the champion books its slot at Kings World Cup Clubs 2027.

There is no published prize pool for this edition. As with most Kings League events, the payoff is the title, the qualification, and a week of peak concurrent viewers for every president streaming it.
