The night opens with a black-tie red carpet broadcast before the paired arrivals begin — which, based on the first edition, is where most of the viral moments come from. Guests arrive in custom prom outfits and compete for the Prom King and Queen crowns.

Attending creators multistream their own perspective from inside the venue — in 2025 a remarkable 1,575 unique channels ended up covering the night between on-site guests and people rebroadcasting the feed. What the First Edition Did

Streamer Prom 2025 ran overnight from June 18 into June 19 and immediately established itself as a fixture. The numbers explain why a second edition was inevitable:
