Certification unlocks 12 hours of early access to select Open Invite brand campaigns and adds a credibility stamp to your creator profile, making you discoverable to sponsors.

Certified creators get into Open Invite campaigns 12 hours before non-certified creators. Because campaigns are first-come, first-serve, this window is a direct revenue advantage.

Brands searching for streamers to sponsor can filter for Certified Creators. The badge signals professionalism and readiness to brands before any conversation begins.
What Is an Open Invite Campaign?
Open Invite campaigns are brand sponsorship deals that Twitch makes available to a pool of eligible creators on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once the campaign slots are filled, no further applications are accepted. Getting in 12 hours early — before non-certified streamers even see the offer — meaningfully increases the chance of landing a deal, particularly for mid-tier creators competing for the same campaigns as larger channels.
How to Get Certified
Certification is earned entirely through Twitch's own Creator Camp course on Creator Sponsorships. The course covers how to pitch brands, deliver sponsored content professionally, and meet campaign deliverables. There is no fee — it is free for all Partners and Affiliates.
What Twitch Expects in Return
Twitch is explicit that certification comes with an elevated expectation. Certified creators are expected to complete all campaign deliverables, adhere to brand requests, and deliver thoughtful, genuine, and professional sponsorship experiences. Failing to meet those standards could result in losing certified status.
Who Is Eligible?
