Twitch Tests Streamer Shouts: Personalized Post-Stream Messages to Viewers
Twitch is testing a new tool called Streamer Shouts — personalized messages that streamers can send to groups of viewers after a stream ends. The messages land directly in each viewer's Activity Feed to celebrate moments like follow anniversaries and watch streak milestones.

The “My Shoutouts” screen in the Twitch mobile app, showing messages sent for Follow Anniversary and Watch Streak Celebration events with Sends, Views, and Reactions stats.
“We're testing a new way for streamers to recognize their viewers with Streamer Shouts. Personalized messages sent to groups of viewers post-stream to celebrate moments and milestones — delivered straight to their Activity Feed.”
How Streamer Shouts Works
Custom Messages
Write personalized text for each viewer group — follow anniversaries, watch streaks, and other milestones.
Group Targeting
Send one message to all viewers who triggered the same milestone during that stream.
Activity Feed Delivery
Messages arrive in the viewer's Activity Feed — not chat — so they are seen after the stream ends.
Stats per Shout
Track Sends, Views, and Reactions for every Shout to see how your audience responds.
Not the Same as the /shoutout Command
Twitch already has a Shoutout feature — the /shoutout chat command that highlights another streamer's channel to your viewers live on stream. Streamer Shouts is a completely separate tool aimed at streamer-to-viewer recognition, not channel promotion. Where the existing Shoutout puts another creator in the spotlight, Streamer Shouts is about thanking your own audience for specific actions they took during your stream.
The feature is currently in limited testing. Twitch did not announce a wider availability date.
