How to Watch BlizzCon 2026 Free

There is no Virtual Ticket in 2026. The main feed runs on twitch.tv/blizzard and youtube.com/blizzard, with Battle.net carrying it as well.

The part people get caught out by: programming varies by channel. The Blizzard channels carry the Main Stage, but the esports brackets live on their own franchise channels — the Overwatch World Cup, the Hearthstone World Championship and the WoW esports finals each stream separately. Every time in this article is Pacific (PDT) unless stated otherwise — that is how Blizzard publishes the grids. Europe gets a comfortable evening; APAC gets an overnight.

Day 1 — Saturday, September 12

Highlights only — the full grid has more on every stage, including four Overwatch World Cup quarterfinals, four Hearthstone World Championship quarterfinals and the Classic Cup legacy matches.

Day 2 — Sunday, September 13

Day 2 is the esports day. Three championships finish inside four hours of each other — the Hearthstone World Championship Finals at 1:00 PM, the Overwatch World Cup Finals at 2:45 PM and the AWC 2026 Championship Match at 5:00 PM — on three different streams. Plan which one you watch live and which one you catch on VOD.

What Each Stage Is For

Viewership Rewards — BlizzCon's Version of Drops

Blizzard does not call them Twitch Drops, but they work the same way: link your Battle.net account to the platform you are watching on, watch, and the reward lands in-game. Six games are covered, and rewards are delivered by September 28, 2026.

The StarCraft II and Heroes of the Storm rewards have the clearest published requirements — one hour of the right content on Twitch. For the other four, Blizzard points to each game's own news page for the specific item, so check there before assuming any stream counts.

What the Opening Ceremony Already Revealed

If you are picking which Day 2 panels to prioritise, the Day 1 ceremony sets the agenda. Blizzard announced a new StarCraft — an open-world shooter aimed at 2030 — confirmed Diablo V for 2029 with a Diablo IV 30th-anniversary season next month, revealed a Netflix Diablo animated series, and laid out World of Warcraft: Forever, which launches November 4 with beta opening September 17.

That makes three Day 2 panels the ones to actually clear your calendar for: World of Warcraft: Forever — Deep Dive at 10:00 AM, Diablo IV — What's Next at 11:00 AM, and 30 Years of Battle.net at 9:30 AM, which has CD Projekt Red as a guest — an unusual booking for a Blizzard stage.

If You Are Streaming Around It

Blizzard has not published a co-streaming programme for BlizzCon 2026 — no permissions page, no creator toolkit, unlike The Game Awards or Summer Game Fest where publishers hand out explicit co-stream rights. There is a WoW Creator Showcase on Day 1, but that is a produced segment on Blizzard's own stage, not an invitation to restream the feed. Without published permissions, pointing OBS at the broadcast is a rights question, not a settled one.

What is uncontroversial: reacting on camera without rebroadcasting the feed, going live in the affected categories while the audience is already there, and covering the announcements after the fact.
