What Is the Cinnathon?

A subathon is one continuous stream with no scheduled end: the broadcaster runs a countdown clock, and every subscription pushes it further out. The stream ends when the clock does — which means the audience, not the schedule, decides how long it lasts. Ludwig's 2021 subathon is the format's landmark, running 31 days and taking him to the top of Twitch's all-time sub count.

The Cinnathon is Cinna's take on that, and it lands at the strongest moment of her career so far. She spent mid-July as one of the professors at Streamer University 2026, a run that added roughly 140,000 Twitch followers in a month, then went dark for nine days. The announcement trailer was the first thing on the channel after that silence.

The announcement was deliberately thin. Beyond the date and the channel, almost nothing about the format has been made public:

How a Subathon Sub Timer Works

Cinna hasn't published her ratios, but every subathon runs on the same mechanic. The streamer assigns a time value to each way of paying in, and the clock absorbs it:

• Tier 1 subs add a fixed block of time — commonly a few minutes each — and Tier 2 and Tier 3 add proportionally more.
• Gifted subs count the same as regular ones, which is why sub-bombs are the moments that visibly jolt the timer.
• Bits and direct donations usually convert at a published per-unit rate.
• Prime subs count, and they are free to the viewer once a month — the cheapest way to add time.
• Many streamers cap the clock (say, at 24 or 48 hours) so a single big night can't lock them in for months.

She Has Done This Before: the Sis-a-thon

This is not Cinna's first marathon. In February 2025 she and Valkyrae ran the week-long “Sis-a-thon”, streamed on both of their Twitch channels from 3 PM PT on February 24 and pitched as the first livestream marathon by a female duo — sleepovers, game shows and a rotating cast of guests. Before that she had run marathons with Agent00, one of which was nominated for Best Collab at the Streamer Awards.

The scale is the difference. She had roughly 548,000 Twitch followers when the Sis-a-thon went live; she has 1.3 million now, and this time she is carrying the clock alone.

How to Watch the Cinnathon

One channel, free to watch. No start time has been posted and her Twitch schedule page was still empty on July 29, so turning on channel notifications is the reliable move.

What to Expect

• A sub-timer reveal at the start of the stream — ratio, starting clock and any cap are usually the first thing on screen.
• A heavy opening spike: subathon day one is when gifted-sub bombs land, and her 90-day peak of 67,289 is the bar to clear.
• Guests. Valkyrae's reply points that way, and Cinna's marathons have always been built around a rotating cast.
• Category drift by design — Just Chatting is already 47% of her watch time, and multi-day streams pull toward IRL, sleep streams and games.
• A long tail rather than one big night: the metric that matters for a subathon is total hours watched, not the day-one peak.
