This is a mid-size creator field rather than a headliner event, and that is the point of the Latin Guild format — it puts forty LATAM and Latin-American creators on the official Twitch Rivals channel for four hours, which is reach most of them could not buy. Watch the team channels as well as the main broadcast: the produced feed can only follow a few runs at a time.
The Rules That Make It Watchable
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| In-game comms only | No Discord, no external voice. Teams coordinate entirely through the game. |
| Challenges revealed late | Each round's restrictions are published ten minutes before it starts. |
| No guns | Gun, Shotgun and Tranq Gun are all banned. |
| Upgrade cap | Maximum of three upgrades per player in each stat. |
| Vanilla only | No game mods and no glitches of any kind. |
| Best run counts | Teams may run a round more than once; only the best score goes on the leaderboard. |
The in-game-comms rule is the one that decides how this looks on stream. Banning Discord forces every team call into proximity voice, which turns coordination itself into the content — the same reason R.E.P.O. lobbies travel well as clips in the first place.
Where to Watch
The produced broadcast runs on twitch.tv/twitchrivals, free and without a subscription. Every competitor also streams their own point of view, so if you want one team's full run rather than the director's cut, open their channel instead — or both at once with our multiwatch tool.

Frequently Asked Questions
When does La Asada on Twitch Rivals start?
September 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM ET, running until 9:00 PM ET. That is 2:00 PM Pacific, 3:00 PM in Mexico City, 4:00 PM in Bogotá, 6:00 PM in Buenos Aires, 11:00 PM in Madrid and 21:00 UTC.
Where can I watch La Asada ft. Latin Guild?
On the official Twitch Rivals channel at twitch.tv/twitchrivals. Individual competitors also stream their own point of view on their channels, so you can follow one team's run instead of the produced broadcast.
What game is being played?
R.E.P.O., played as a speedrun with restrictions. Forty streamers are split into ten teams of four across three one-hour rounds, and each round carries its own challenge revealed ten minutes before it begins.
Which streamers are competing?
Ten four-player teams: La Panadería Squad, Toma-tillos, Chancla Salsa, Los Niños de Sombra, Caliente Crew, My Chemical REPOmance, Las Empa-nadas, Loot Flans!, Las Chanclas and Viejitos Reposados. The full 40-name roster is in the table above.
What are the rules?
All communication must happen in-game — no Discord. Guns are banned, glitches of any kind void the run, players may take at most three upgrades in each stat, and gameplay must be vanilla with no mods. Teams can attempt a round more than once, but only their best score counts.
