An Audiobook Service, a Chocolate Bar and an Airline Are Fronting TwitchCon

By Mira Okonkwo··6 min read

TwitchCon San Diego has published its sponsors and exhibitors — 84 names for November 13–15. Two things jump out of the list. Five of the six presenting sponsors sell nothing to do with gaming. And 15 of the 84 are charities, which is nearly one stand in five.

Presenting sponsors

  • Audible
  • e.l.f. Cosmetics
  • JLab Audio
  • Amazon Prime
  • Reese's
  • Southwest Airlines

An audiobook service, a cosmetics brand, a pair of headphones, a video subscription, a chocolate bar and an airline. Only JLab makes something a streamer would plug in.

Compare that with Rotterdam

We covered the European edition earlier this year, and the contrast is the quickest way to read this list. TwitchCon Rotterdam had one presenting sponsor: Minecraft — a game, fronting a gaming convention. San Diego has six, and five of them would look equally at home sponsoring a music festival.

Rotterdam 2026

~28

names on the floor

Presenting sponsor: Minecraft. Heavy on games and European tooling.

San Diego 2026

84

names on the floor

Three times the size, fronted by brands from outside the industry entirely.

Only six names appear at both: Streamlabs, Blerp, Hollyland, StreamableRun, Xsolla, Yamaha. Most exhibitors treat the two editions as separate markets rather than one tour, which is why a European creator and an American one walk very different show floors.

The floor, by category

Twitch publishes the list in three tiers — presenting sponsors, sponsors, exhibitors — but not by what anyone actually does. These groupings are ours, to make the floor readable.

  • KJuroheim Item Shop
  • Legacy Cards
  • Momoko House
  • Pixel Empire
  • PowCreations
  • Ruyikoi
  • Senpai Squad
  • Shinigami Queen
  • Youtooz

A judgement call in places. Several of the smaller exhibitors cannot be classified from a name alone, and a few sit in two categories at once — Youtooz makes merch and sells to creators; JLab is both a presenting sponsor and a hardware brand. Names appear once where they fit best, and the presenting six are listed again in their trade category.

One stand in five is a charity

This is the number worth sitting with. Fifteen nonprofits have taken space: the American Heart Association, Stand Up To Cancer, Starlight Children's Foundation, Project HOPE, the Lupus Foundation, the Immune Deficiency Foundation, the Ehlers-Danlos Society, the National Children's Alliance, Lambda Legal, Gamers Outreach, Games for Love, Stack Up, Qweerty Gamers, Safe Game and MediaWise.

No other entertainment convention looks like that. It happens because charity fundraising on Twitch is a native format rather than a bolt-on — subathons and charity streams raise real money, and the creators who run them are all in one building for three days. These organisations are not there to sell to attendees. They are there to recruit streamers.

Who isn't there

For a streaming convention, the absences in the hardware column are loud. There is no Elgato, no Corsair, no Razer and no Shure on the published list — four of the biggest names in the gear streamers actually buy. Elgato in particular has spent the autumn launching products, including the Wave Go wireless mic, and Riot Games has a whole theatre with its name on it at the show without appearing on this page either.

So read the absences carefully rather than conclusively: a brand can run activations, sponsored programming or a stage at TwitchCon without being on the sponsors and exhibitors page, and the list is still filling in. It is a snapshot, not a census.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is sponsoring TwitchCon San Diego 2026?

Six presenting sponsors front the show: Audible, e.l.f. Cosmetics, JLab Audio, Amazon Prime, Reese's and Southwest Airlines. Below them the official page lists a further tier of sponsors and a long exhibitor list, 84 names in total. Notably, five of the six presenting sponsors sell nothing related to gaming — an audiobook service, a cosmetics brand, a chocolate bar, an airline and a video subscription. Only JLab, which makes headphones and earbuds, is endemic.

How many exhibitors are at TwitchCon San Diego 2026?

84 names are listed across the sponsor and exhibitor tiers. For scale, the European edition in Rotterdam earlier this year listed about 28 — so the San Diego floor is roughly three times the size.

Which brands are at both TwitchCon Rotterdam and San Diego in 2026?

Six turn up on both floors: Streamlabs, Blerp, Hollyland, StreamableRun, Xsolla and Yamaha. That overlap is small, and it is worth reading — most exhibitors treat the two editions as separate markets rather than one tour, so a European creator and an American one will walk very different show floors.

Why are there so many charities at TwitchCon?

Because charity fundraising is a native streaming format rather than an add-on. Fifteen of the 84 names are nonprofits — the American Heart Association, Stand Up To Cancer, Starlight Children's Foundation, Gamers Outreach, Stack Up, Lambda Legal and others — which is close to one stand in five. Twitch creators have raised very large sums through subathons and charity streams, so these organisations come to recruit streamers, not to sell to attendees.

What gear brands will be at TwitchCon San Diego?

Sixteen hardware names, covering most of a streaming setup: Logitech G, ASUS, AVerMedia, FIFINE, MAONO, Hollyland, JLab, Lamzu, Nanlite, Predator Gaming, SanDisk, Eero, V1 Tech, Yamaha, LiberNovo and Vetra Mobile. Worth noting who is absent — there is no Elgato, Corsair, Razer or Shure on the published list, which for a streaming convention is a conspicuous gap at the top of the audio and capture market.

Is the exhibitor list final?

Not necessarily. TwitchCon has added programming to its site as recently as this month, and sponsor lists typically keep growing until the doors open on November 13. This list reflects the official sponsors and exhibitors page as published; treat it as the state of play rather than the last word.
