Gifts for Streamers and Content Creators: 28 Ideas by Budget
By Mira Okonkwo··13 min read
The best gifts for streamers fix a daily annoyance without replacing gear they already chose — a warmer for the coffee that goes cold on stream, a foot rest for eight-hour sessions, a first Stream Deck, a proper light. If you do not know their setup, stay under $50 or give something digital: gift subs and Bits pay the streamer directly and need no address.
Affiliate disclosure: product links go to Amazon with our affiliate tag. They cost you nothing and we earn a small commission, which keeps this guide free. Picks are chosen on whether they suit a streaming desk, not on commission.

The Short List
One pick per budget if you want to stop reading here. Every item links to its full entry below.
| Budget | Pick | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Under $25 | Coffee mug warmer | Their drink goes cold on stream every single night. |
| Under $50 | Under-desk foot rest | Comfort for eight-hour sessions, no sizing needed. |
| Under $100 | Elgato Stream Deck Neo | The cheapest real Stream Deck, used every single stream. |
| Under $200 | Elgato Key Light | Light is the upgrade viewers see; a better webcam barely shows. |
| $200+ | Elgato Stream Deck + XL | For the full-time streamer who outgrew a small deck. |
| No address needed | Gift subs or Bits | Pays them directly and fills their chat with new subscribers. |
Not sure what they want? Ask them for a wishlist.
Streamers get asked “what do you want?” every December, and “uhh, lights I guess” is how people end up with three ring lights. One shared list answers it once: the streamer drops a single link in chat or a panel, and everyone buying can see what is actually wanted. People can reserve an item without the streamer seeing who took it, so nothing gets bought twice and nothing gets spoiled.
Create a free wishlist on Secret.Gift — items from any store, not just Amazon, one link to share, and no signup or email for the streamer or the people buying.

For a viewer, digital gifts are usually the better choice. They need no address, they arrive while the streamer is live, and platform gifts pay the channel directly. A gift sub also lands on a viewer in their chat, so it grows the community as well as the income. Here is how each one works, from the platforms' own help pages.
| Gift | How to send it | What the streamer gets |
|---|---|---|
| Twitch gift sub | Click a viewer's name in chat → Gift a Sub, or the channel's Support button → Gift a Sub. Type /gift 1–100 in chat to gift the community. | Counts like a regular sub. Tier 1 is $5.99 in the US on the web; other countries have local prices. |
| Twitch Bits (a Cheer) | Buy Bits from the Bits icon in the top bar or in chat, then type cheer + amount in their chat. | 1 cent per Bit. The viewer pays a little more, and more again inside the mobile app. |
| Kick gift sub | Gift a Sub next to the Subscribe button, to one viewer or random viewers, up to 500 at once. | $5 per sub, of which the streamer keeps 95%. Gifts do not renew. |
| YouTube gift membership | During a live stream or Premiere on a channel with gifting turned on, open the gifting option in live chat and pick how many. | Goes to random viewers who opted in; one month, not recurring, priced at the channel's highest membership level up to $9.99. |
| TikTok LIVE gift | Buy Coins, send a Gift during their LIVE. | Converted to Diamonds on their side — see how gifts become money. |
| Discord Nitro | The gift icon next to the message box in a DM, or a Nitro code bought on Amazon (1, 3, 6 or 12 months; US and EU). | A personal gift, not income — but most streamers live in their community Discord. |
Twitch gift subs
According to Twitch's gift sub help page, you can gift to one viewer by clicking their name in chat and choosing Gift a Sub, or to the community by typing /gift plus a number from 1 to 100. Single gifts can be anonymous; the /gift command cannot. Tier 1 gifts can run 3, 6 or 12 months on the web, and you cannot gift someone who is already subscribed. Twitch's local pricing page puts a Tier 1 sub at $5.99 in the United States. Gift subs are not discounted during site-wide sales like SUBtember; instead Twitch sometimes adds bonus gifts on top of community gift purchases. To see what a batch of gifts is worth to the streamer after Twitch's cut, run the numbers in our Twitch sub calculator.
Bits
Bits are Twitch's tipping currency: you buy them, then cheer them in chat. Monetized streamers receive 1 cent per Bit cheered, per Twitch's creator help page. You pay a little more than that per Bit, and Twitch notes that Bits bought inside the mobile app can cost more because of app-store fees — buying at bits.twitch.tv in a browser gets web prices. Our Bits to USD calculator converts any cheer into dollars.
Kick, YouTube and TikTok
On Kick, a gift sub is $5 and the streamer keeps 95%, per Kick's revenue split page. On YouTube, gift memberships only appear during a live stream or Premiere on channels that turned them on, and they go to random viewers who opted in — you cannot pick the recipient. On TikTok, gifts are bought with Coins and turn into Diamonds for the creator; our TikTok LIVE gifts guide explains what a gift is worth once it reaches them.
Discord Nitro and gift cards
Most streamers run their community on Discord, which makes Nitro a gift they will actually use. Per Discord's Nitro gifting help page, you buy it from the gift icon next to the message box — do it in a DM so nobody else can claim the link — and an unclaimed gift stays in User Settings → Gift Inventory. Discord also sells Nitro codes on Amazon in 1, 3, 6 and 12-month lengths (US and EU only).
Discord Nitro, 3 months (digital code)
Around $30 on Amazon, delivered by email.

From $15 on Amazon. The balance can be spent on Bits and other Twitch purchases.
Check price on AmazonFor a gaming streamer, a Steam digital gift card lands straight in their Steam wallet through your own Steam account. And the most personal digital gift of all is art for the channel: commission a custom emote or a set of sub badges from an artist they like. Our Twitch emotes guide lists the sizes and upload rules, so you can hand the artist the right specs.
What Not to Buy a Streamer
The most common unwanted gift is a duplicate or a downgrade of something they picked carefully. Avoid these unless the streamer told you exactly what they want:
- Their main microphone, camera, headset or capture card. These are chosen around their voice, their room and their PC. A $150 mic that is “better” on paper can sound worse in their room, and a capture card is useless if they stream from a PC. Ask about the mic and the camera before anything else.
- Mic accessories without knowing the mic. Shock mounts and pop filters fit specific models, and boom arms have weight limits — the InnoGear above is rated for 1.5 kg, the RØDE PSA1+ for 0.25–1.2 kg. Check the mic in our microphone guide first.
- A second one of anything. A second ring light, a second Stream Deck, a second webcam. Look at the stream for thirty seconds before you buy lighting or cameras.
- Chairs and desks. Sizing, delivery and room layout make furniture a conversation, not a surprise.
- Generic “gamer” merchandise. Branded mugs, energy-drink bundles and novelty shirts depend entirely on taste. If you want merch, buy from a game or creator they actually talk about on stream.
- Anything that needs their home address, if you are a viewer. Do not ask for it. Send a digital gift or buy from a wishlist they have published.
How to Find Out Their Setup
Five minutes of looking tells you most of what you need, without spoiling the surprise.
- 1Read their panels. On Twitch, scroll below the player or open the About tab; many streamers keep a “Setup” or “Gear” panel listing the mic, camera and PC, often with links. Our channel panels guide shows where they live on Twitch, Kick and YouTube.
- 2Try the chat commands. Streamers often set up bot commands like
!setup,!specs,!pcor!gear. Type one in chat — if it exists, the bot answers with their full list. - 3Look at the stream. The mic is usually in frame, the headset brand is on the ear cup, and you can tell in seconds whether there is a key light or only a monitor glow. If there is no arm and the mic sits on the desk, the InnoGear or RØDE arm is a safe bet.
- 4Check a setup database. For well-known streamers, sites like ProSettings.net list the gear they use, collected from streams and interviews.
- 5Ask a mod. Moderators know the setup, the upgrade plans and whether someone already bought the thing you had in mind. A quiet DM beats guessing.
For someone just starting out with a phone and a laptop, skip single gifts and look at our budget streaming setup under $500 — it lists the mic, webcam, light and arm that belong together, so you can buy one piece of a matched kit instead of a random upgrade. Everything else we recommend is in the streaming gear hub.
Timing: Black Friday to Christmas
Black Friday falls on November 27 in 2026 and Cyber Monday on November 30. Streaming gear from Elgato, Logitech and Govee is usually discounted around those dates, so the prices on this page — checked on September 26 — will move. For anything made to order, like the custom neon sign, order in early November, not after Cyber Monday. Digital gifts are the last-minute answer: a gift sub or a Nitro link arrives on Christmas Eve just as well as on the first of December.

If people keep asking what you want, put the answer in a panel. Build a list on Secret.Gift with items from any store, share the link in chat or on your About page, and let viewers reserve what they buy — you will not see who took what, and nobody doubles up.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are good gifts for streamers?
Things that fix a daily annoyance without replacing gear they chose themselves: a mug warmer, a foot rest, a desk mat, a boom arm for a mic still on its stand, a key light, or an Elgato Stream Deck if they do not own one. Under $25 is the safest range to buy blind. Above $100 almost everything duplicates something a set-up streamer might already have, so check their panels or ask a mod before you buy.
What is the best gift for a streamer from their community?
Usually a digital one. Gift subs and Bits on Twitch, gift subs on Kick, and gift memberships on YouTube pay the streamer directly, need no shipping address, and bring new subscribers into their chat. A Twitch gift sub supports the channel just like a regular subscription. Physical gifts from viewers work best when the streamer has published a wishlist, because that answers both the “what” and the “how does it reach them” question.
How much should I spend on a gift for a streamer?
It depends on how well you know their setup, not only on the relationship. With no idea what they own, stay under $50 and pick comfort items — nothing on that list conflicts with existing gear. From $80 to $200 you are buying streaming gear, such as a Stream Deck, a key light or studio headphones, which is only a good gift when you have confirmed they do not already have one.
Do gift subs actually help the streamer?
Yes. Twitch's help center says a gift sub supports the channel just like a regular recurring subscription, so the streamer gets their normal share of it. On Kick a gift sub is $5 and the streamer keeps 95%. The difference from a physical gift is that the money goes to the channel and the sub perks go to a viewer in chat.
How much does it cost to gift a sub on Twitch?
A Tier 1 sub is $5.99 in the United States on the web; Twitch sets lower local prices in many other countries. Tier 2 and Tier 3 cost more, 3-, 6- and 12-month gifts are Tier 1 only and available on the web, and community gifts are typed as /gift plus a number from 1 to 100 in chat. You cannot gift a sub to someone who is already subscribed to that channel.
Can I send a streamer a gift without their address?
Yes, and you should not ask for it. Gift subs, Bits, YouTube gift memberships and a Discord Nitro gift link all arrive digitally. For physical items, look for a wishlist in their panels or ask in their Discord whether they have one; a streamer who wants physical gifts will tell you how they want to receive them.
What should you not buy a streamer?
Their main microphone, camera, headset or capture card, unless they told you exactly which one. Those are chosen around their voice, room and PC, and duplicates are the most common unwanted gift. Also skip microphone accessories that fit only certain mics, generic gamer merchandise, and furniture like chairs and desks, which need sizing and a conversation first.
Are these good gifts for content creators who do not stream?
Most of them. YouTubers, podcasters and TikTok creators use the same light, boom arm, studio headphones and Stream Deck, and the comfort picks apply to anyone who edits for hours. Swap the Twitch-specific digital gifts for a YouTube channel membership or TikTok LIVE gifts, depending on where they post.
